285/70/r17 E Rated

Is Toyo Open Country AT the only E rated 285/70/17 tires on the market. I inherited a 32 ft 5th wheel and the current D rating on my BFG have me a little worried with 6k# sitting on the axles.

BFG doesn't have a 285/70/17 E in the KM2... I hope they will soon..
They do have one in 285/70/17 E for the AT... but its only rated at 3195@80

I went with the Toyo AT's becuase they carry a mileage warranty.. and as hard as they trucks are on tires when towing I wanted to get my money out of my rubber.

The Toyo AT's and Nitto's Terra Grapplers are rated at 3750@80psi

The Toyo MT's are actually a 295/70/17E and are rated at 3970@80

Thanks for the all the info. NITTO is and Toyo are the same I believe and the NITTO Name adds $20 buck a tire. I got quote on the Open Country AT $1100 installed. Does that seem fair? Has anyone gotten more than 40K out of them. I don't drive the truck like i used to, but I got 80K on my BFG TA with some tred still left.

If you don't mind a bit taller tire check the Toyo 285/75/17 E in Open Country AT. It's WAY heavier duty than the 70 series and excellent for towing. They have a very stiff sidewall.

Mine have 58,000 miles on them now and I plan to make it till next winter before replacing them with the same thing.
