Question on hooking up trailer brake controller in 07 mega

Hey guys quick question is there a plug that comes with new trucks to hook up the controller? Think it comes in the glove box so you hook controller to that then that to factory harness? I'm getting a goose goose hitch installed tomorrow and wannaz know if I should let them intall the controller too

yes, there was a factory pig-tail in the glove box on both my 04.5 and my 09. The enclosed factory data sheet told the funtion of each wire, I just matched it up both times with the wiring on the brake controllers. Then I just found the plug under the dash by the e-brake pedal and plugged it in. Pretty simple.
