Which Trac Bar?
Sorry, but I gave you the wrong impression. I bought mine of a member who bought one from Don but never installed it. I paid $275 shipped, and at the time Don was charging $279 + shipping.
And you are right, Don's bar is good up to 3" lift. After that you'll need one a bit longer. But I'm sure Don can make you one.
So if I can get a longer one made I don't need a bracket (for about 5"+ lift) This doesn't pose any angle probs?
Is there anyone running a 5"-6" lift WITHOUT a drop bracket?

I think with that much of a lift you should use a drop bracket. You want to keep the track bar as parallel with the ground as you can. Such a steep angle will cause a lot of bump steer I would think.
Give Don Thuren a call...even if you don't order his bar he is a great guy to talk to and will be extremely helpful to you I'm sure.

This is what I was thinking too, although there are some track bars that say they can be used for 5"-7" lifts.(no bracket) Just wanting to know If there is ANYONE using such a bar. Still reserching.
