McQuay-Norris VS Moog trac bar-which one is better quality product?
I need to replace the trac bar in my 1994 ram 2500 diesel truck 4x4. I've not heard much about the McQuay-Norris line of parts. wondering if anyone can suggest or comment on the McQuay-Norris parts...made in china?? thanks
I will check it out; http://www.lukeslink.com/ But I think you use a current trac bar & use his ends...someone before I bought my truck had the nerve to "Weld" the current trac bar in there..sigh....What have some of you done/bought (Brand name please) when you had to buy a new trac bar & then add the Lukes link....what do you all suggest?? thanks for any & all replys

I have never tried the McQuay-Norris bar, so I can't comment on it, but I have installed dozens of the Moog track bars. The thing I like about them is that the ball and socket are about 50% larger than the OEM one, so to me it would wear for a lot longer. You would have to compare the McQuay bar to the Moog one to see if its ball/socket are larger as well, or if it's just a duplicate of the OEM one.
As DD2 mentioned, the conversion to the third gen bar sounds like a good upgrade, as the third gen bar has bushings at both ends, and no ball and socket to wear out. I haven't tried that upgrade yet, but I'd like to some time.
