Ball joints: Moog and McQuay-Norris have the same part numbers???
Found out last night I'll be doing one hub and all of my ball joints. In researching it appears I need McQuay-Norris part numbers K7460 and K7467. When I did a search those part numbers also came up as Moog.
Can anyone tell me, does Moog just use the same part numbers or are McQuay-Norris the exact same ball joints?

actually, I think the McQuay-Norris part numbers are
FA2214 Lower Ball Joint
FA2215 Upper Ball Joint
I was looking on tireclub.com and they had the Moog part numbers referenced to McQuay-Norris.
It looks like Advanced Auto can get McQuay-Norris to me next day!

I'm pretty sure they're good. Honestly don't remember why I went with McQuay-Norris over XRF.
Probably in part because the XRF was harder to come by. I'll probably go work on them shortly here, will try to report back how they go.
Started on my wheel bearing last night, what a pain to get out, going to try to power steering + socket trick...

The gentleman i spoke with at tireclub said they had XRF brand in currently but had ordered something like 300 sets and were mostly gone. They were currently out of McQuay Norris. If I remember right, I could get McQuay Norris next day locally, and XRF I would have had to drive to Milwaukee for.
The McQuay Norris went in pretty easily (on the left side, never could get the right rotor off, but that's another story). Both the upper and lower ball joints are setup to be greasable, but the grease zerg is on the top of the lower, towards the axle so you have to plug it with the included plug.
I really can't speak to the XRF as I haven't worked with them, but the McQuay Norris have a lifetime warranty.
And remember to use lots of antisieze...
