Thank You DTR and Budke Motors

Just wanted to give a big thanks to all of you out there that keep this forum going. I've been researching my first Cummins on this site for the past 2-3 months and have learned more than I thought possible. Because of all of you, Budke Motors in McCook NB drove up to my DOOR with my new 2004 Graphite 555 . Things I learned from this site: 555 vs. 600 issues, RB1 vs. RB4 differences, BFG 315's, "market" pricing, and even People First (now Capital One) financing (even Dodge couldn't beat 3.99%).

This was the easiest car purchase I've ever had (only had 2) - didn't know it could be this simple. I filled out the application on Capital One online, got an email back in less than 30 minutes, was overnighted a blank check with my name on it, wrote it out to the dealer and was done.

I'd also like to thank Budke Motors in McCook. These guys were incredible. The downside to these forums...people like me looking for the needle in the haystack. I had an exact truck that I was looking for, and Steve Foster found it for me. I confirmed everything with him on Monday, he installed a few extra accessories that he had overnighted in to arrive Tuesday, and Dion Budke dropped my truck off at my front door here at the office last night! As far as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as better service.

The coolest part about all of this?...check out how it was delivered .

Congrats on the truck. And that's what I call service. One thing's for sure, purchasing a vehicle is SOOO much easier if you don't have a trade-in. I was lucky enough to be able to sell my Ford before my Dodge showed up. I got financing through my own bank and so when I arrived at the dealer to pick up my truck, all I did was sign a few papers, give them a check, and leave. Certainly the most pleasureable buying experience I've ever had.

Congrats on the new truck kindog, sure like the Graphite color. Almost bought that color, but fell in love with my Patriot Blue.

I love my new (almost new, nine months old) truck.

The only "down" side to the whole thing is that I didn't realize this forum existed when I bought the truck.

Had I known about the forum, I'd have been better prepared regarding how to deal, and how pricing works, and now I would not only be loving my truck but I'd be about $5,000 better off.

I hear ya - it's amazing what you can learn from this place in a matter of a few days. I must have logged in a good 30 hours within the first 4 days I found this site.
