Let us know how they work. Did you get the basic drop-ins or the new QP series?

Geez... its mid november and I'm up here in South Dakota and I drive around with my rear slider open just so I can hear the sound of my stacks... and here you guys are complaining that they're too loud... Probablly think my motors too loud too...

For me, I can't get enough of hearing my truck... engine or exhuast. I absolutely hated it when they were first talking about having quited down the engine noise on the 3rd Gens, and I'm still disappointed most of the timew when a 3rd Gen pulls up next to me and revs it... I roll down my window, stick my head out, and put my hand to my ear to let him know I can't hear his truck.

I know, loud isn't for everybody... but how can one justifiably complain about noise when they bought a diesel truck, especially if they installed stacks?

Has anyone put stacks up through a topper shell. You know so just the tops of the stacks are protruding from the top of the topper. I have to have the topper on and would like stacks being the ex-big-rigger I am. If anyone has done this my question is about how to seal the topper from the elements coming in around the stacks.

I have a buddy with a late 70's ford gasser!!! He has 2 stacks through the aluminium topper!! (he put reinators above the topper to quiet the in-cab-noise!!!

I will try to get some pics up.
