what resonater are you running? My MBRP is not helping a bit with these 6" miters. worked great on the 5" aussies. Starting to wonder if its the cut and not the size that is causing a drastic noise difference?

Sounds awesome. I love my stacks, they have an acquired sound and can get pretty loud!

I'm thinking I want to do this in the spring time so if there are any good links you can give me to places that has the stuff I would appreciate it.

The MBRP kit I bought was a full turbo back that also included a 4" downpipe to replace the 3 1/2". I believe it is a full turbo back for 04.5 and up also.

If you want it to be loud and have a larger pipe but are worried about hearing it in the cab run it right out the back.

I have a 5in right out the back,no cat,no muffler,and it's pretty quite inside,if you drop the windows it's loud as heck.

I like the volume of the 5" stacks but these 6" are obnoxious. Might try the drop-in mufflers G.R. sales. If they can bring the noise back down a little with no drone I'll be happy

you can go to your local big rig dealer and get one. There are 2 types. 1 is a complete flow thru (i have) and the other has a baffle in the middle of it and makes everything go into the main chamber. The one i have is the same 1 I had on my Peterbilt when I had 6in straight stacks on it.

You dont happen to know who makes it do you? I measured today and only have 34" of room between the cat and turn-up so a donaldson is out of the question. do you have a noticable drone.I don't know which is worse, the drone with the resonater or the thunder with the strait pipe!

donaldson actually makes shorter ones. head to the big rig parts dept. tell them what diameter in and out and you want 24 " long.

here is mine. Turn you speakers all the way up, and that is about what it sounds like... This way with the window down.
