Springpack noise

It's cold again, so my springpack is moaning over every bump and groaning over every highway joint. I'm getting ready to do the rear spacer removal anyway, is there anything I can put between the individual springs to stop it? I'm thinking something like spray undercoating...whaddya think?

I've seen Teflon strips used in hot rod springs...Dick Megougorac used to use 'em on his customs.

I searched for springpack...guess I need to broaden my vocabulary
That looks like a bunch of work, and I'm not big on disassembling the springpack but if it takes care of the noise it's worth it.

Thanks,

Adam

Alllrighty!

While doing my rear spacer removal I figured I'd take a look at what it would take to do the job and I discovered it was already done! The plastic spacers are in-place at the end of each leaf and they're not worn through.

After spending a bit of time under my truck moving the axle independent of the springs, I've come to the conclusion it is my shocks and not my springs that are making noise. Guess Bilsteins or KYBs are in my near future...

Thanks for all the replies and help folks,

Adam
