Removing spring spacers on 4x4

I know this question has been discussed many times, however I want to hear from more people who have removed the blocks. What are the results, good or ???.

I’m sure the warranty issue would be questioned.

What does the Dodge engineers have to say?

We'd like to know a lot of things Dodge engineers say but their pretty silent. All kidding aside on 2nd gens there was a TSB from Dodge about removing or swapping spacers from bottom to top many many moons ago.In fact it had a warranty op for ones still under warranty for the dealer to perform this.I think.

I pulled my spacers out over 100,000 miles back. Excellent mod. I don't know why it would bring up any warrante issues and I don't care. In my opinion the truck is better off without them.

The one negative is that when heavily loaded I get more bottoming in the rear. But it's rare and I have Ranchos that I turn to way stiff when loaded.

I just bought a new horse trailer for local stuff.I made sure of the way it was designed that it cleared and rode level, the trailer that is.My LQ trailer with batterys, propane tanks, generator and hyd.jack up front weighs enough to make my truck ride level.

hounddog, what brand of trailer did you get and why? Is the LQ area sufficient for comfort, or just to provide temporary shelter and privacy while away from home for a day or two? What kind of horses do you have?

I am kinda new to the whole equestrian lifestyle, but i like learning new stuff

My LQ is a HART.Its a 8 foot LQ .I bought it used.At the time I did not know that HART is considered a top of the line. The alum used is a T6 not a lower T number. You could stay out in it quite a while. Its as capab;e as any moderate size travel trailer, maybe more so as it has a Onan generator mounted up front with auto start.Seperate shower, commode, furnace, roof air etc.Now Spooler has a 10 foot LQ he bought new.I have TOO many horses LOL about 30 head at the moment. They are Walking horses and I have Qtr horses. The economy has hurt the market bad.
