Re-gear with limited slip

Hi all,

When re-gearing a truck from a 3.55 to a 4.10, does the factory limited slip need to be replaced, or will it work with the new ring and pinion? Thanks.

Dodge hasn't used 3.55's in the 3rd gens, you should have 3.73's. I am upgrading the gears in my 04.5 and according to 6 states the carrier doesn't need to be changed in order to swap to 4.10's. I hope this helps.

You should have the 3.73's. Going to the 4.10's is no problem.
