Do you have running boards? I had mine hitting the body mounts and making noise.

I had checked exhaust and step rails but not the spare tire so I'll do that tonight when I get home from work.

Roll the truck over on its roof and gently tap with a rubber mallet wrapped with a towel (Quiets the blow and keeps the mallet from scratching your paint) looking for something that rattles.

Or you could buy a louder stereo...

I had this rattling sound that was driving me CRAZY for months ...

Turns out the jack under the passenger seat had worked its way loose (I have never used or removed it) and was vibrating in the mount.
At least in my case it was an easy fix.

Cheers

My problem was the heat shield on the fuel tank. The plastic retainer clip broke off and the heat shield was hitting the driveline.
