Quick Question????
I have an 07 ram 2500 and i have the stock 1 cd radio with satelite radio. my friend has a 6 cd changer with the infinity sound in his truck. will that 6 cd radio plug directly in without splicing wires?? and will my origional satellite subscription work with his radio or does the satellite follow the radio??
Thanks, kyle

I don't know about the wiring part of your question, but you might be able to find it at this link since wiring diagrams are available

Regarding your other question, I think the subscription actually follows the satellite receiver, which is not a part of the radio. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Alternately, you could call Sirius and confirm with them.

In my truck, I simply unplugged the single CD player, and plugged in the 6 disc CD/MP3 player. Easy as pie, piece of cake.
It takes longer to get to the unit than it does to swap it out. I had to take the whole center dash apart - starting with the floor console.

To set up my account I had to access code from radio while on phone with Serius, then leave radio on a while to connect. Not sure if code is in radio or other box somewhere and accessed from radio but should not be a problem.
