Bed Liner
Bed Liner
Well, I did the deed yesterday before the much, and overly dramatized snowfall of 8-12". We got zip, none, Nada, zero! But we did get rain and it is still coming down. Anyway, I was able to get a Bullet Liner (Line-X) installed (sprayed) yesterday and am very pleased with the liner, prep work, and workmanship. As we all know preparation is 90% of the work and Ben didn't miss a bit! I had 5ea 2.5" holes in the bed from a removed 5th wheel kit. Normal practice is to put some metal tape over the holes and let the liner material set-up. Not Ben, he took some steel sheet, cut it to fit over the openings and sandwiched the steel between coats of the liner. Yes, you can see the faint outline of the patches but the liner is between 200 and 225mil thick and guaranteed for life. Since I don't use the truck for hauling dirt, sand, rock, or other things that require a shovel, I'm satisfied. I decided not to go with the UV/Premium level since I'm adding a Trifecta cover right after it stops raining. I'll post some pics. For those interested in a bed liner try www.bulletliner.com. Ben's place is in South Glens Falls, NY and was well worth the 35 miles to his shop.
