It is NOT always the MF switch.

I have changed that on the 05, and still have the wiper problem. However, the new switch did cure the signaling as it felt was required. Left/right, right/left, / either/ 4-ways..... had to love that one.

next step is the wiper motor.

Same here, my son's 04 is doing this, never seen it happen in my 03 or 05. Son also owned an 06 that never had that trouble. Its annoying.

Mine does it to...Sometimes when I hit the unlock button on my controller. Sometimes not at all. Sometimes stop half way down the window. I hate it. I don't want to replace everything...I posted about this on cummins forum. Over there they are having more luck with the multi function switch. This is the first time I have heard about the motor being replaced. I have also read about replacing the relays helping or making sure they are pushed in all the way. I would be curious to hear more on your fixes. Is the motor hard to replace? I like the $36 price tag for the motor, that is cheaper than the multi function switch.

What he said^^^^^. Mine do all sorts of weird stuff and I was hoping it could be an easy fix. Curious about the wiper motor

Its worth a try. Only 36 dollars and its a pretty easy change out. It cured all of my problems so far. Any other questions let me know.

On my 06 1500 i had both, the wiper problem and the turn signal issue. The wiper problem happened when i was leaving Pocono raceway and got hit by a heavy rain and thunderstorm. i ended up pulling of the road cuz i couldnt see. The turn signal happened only when i would engage it all the way.

my intermittent wipers have their own mind too. I replaced the multifunction switch and that didn't fix the problem. Going to change both relays next. hopefully its the relays.
