Power windows

The power windows do not work on any door but the drivers door from there own switch in my 03 dodge but i can control the all the windows just fine with all the switches on the drivers door. It used to be that sometimes the switches on the other doors would work and sometimes they wouldnt but if one worked then they all did. Now they never work off there own switches. No the window lock button isnt on and i have checked the fuse for it, it was fine but tried a new one for the hell of it and didnt fix the problem. I have already checked the wires that are in the boots inside the back door hinges for cracked or broken wires but didnt find any. I am going to check the front door boots aswell but I cant see them being the problem as theres not much stress on those wires. One question I do have though, is the 4 switches on the drivers door one unit if you pull it out or do you replace each switch individually? My buddy has had this problem with his 03 dodge aswell but they are working at the moment. What are some other things I can look for cause nicer weather is on its way and it gets annoying operating passengers windows for them all the time. Thanks.

Sounds like the window lock button may be faulty. Maybe a bud of yours has the same model truck and you could borrow his switch for a few mins and see if that cures the problem.

I had the same problem on my wife's 03 hemi. It was the lock switch, however, I could not just buy that part, I had to buy the whole assembly. I never did fix it, because we traded the truck.

I was going to just take the switch out of the loop...

same thing on my '02 1500.... never bothered to fix it, since I could operate all windows. I found that if I took the control panel off, and disconnected it, and reconnected it, it would work fine for a while..
