I have interest in a 2002 Dodge Cummins at the local dealership, but it does not have power windows or locks. Is there an aftermarket kit to power these? Has anyone done this? I figure this would be cheaper than going to the dealership?

If you want to do it, the street rod market is your best bet. They have kits that can do just about what ever you imagine. One of my favorites uses your stock crank handle as the switch. A little movement one way, the window goes down. A little movement the other way, the window goes up. Just do a search on power windows on google or yahoo or another search engine. Here is the first one I found.

Another route is try a bone yard for used. It is a direct bolt up, no mods.

 

I should have mentioned that one too. Oh well, no one is perfect.

 

That's the best part of this group. What one doesn't think of someone else will. There are no grades and no paychecks. It's no big deal. Don't be so hard on yourself.
