Re:Power Windows

What do you mean in terms of everything? Did you pull the switch out and check power there? Are the fuses good? I guess if it were me I would get a schematic and trace the wire until I found the fault. Hope this helps.

Re:Power Windows

Fuses are good, and I traced the wiring as far as I could and found no problems. I do not know exactly how to test the switch, thw power locks still work but the green l.e.d lights do not work on driver or passenger side.
The fuse got really hot when they first stopped working.
The truck is a 2002 2500 Cummins HO.

Re:Power Windows

Didm the fuse blow? To test the switch you probably have to take the door panel off. Take a test light and see if you get power. If you can get a ohms tester and you know the wire you can find the open spot.

Re:Power Windows

Coyote22250,
Seeing as that it is an '02, any chance you are still in warranty? If you checked the basics (fuse etc) and they are not the culprit, I would let the dealer take care of it if you were under warranty.

Welcome aboard,
Rob

Re:Power Windows

Did you TEST the fuse? Sometimes these fuses look good when in fact they are not. :- I'd put in a new fuse and see if it works. Also, in your first post you said windows, with an 's'. Is it both or just one? If it is both it is likely not the switch.
