overload springs?

I have a 05 2500, It has somekind of a lift from procomp, it is a suspension lift that was put on before i bought the truck. Here is the problem. This truck squats like a b&%# when i put my boat on it, or a really heavy load in the bed. Can i get the overload springs that come on the 3500, or is there a better "cheaper" idea. Any help with ideas would be appreciated. And also what i should pay for the springs and labor?

I'd go with Firestone air bags, might not be cheaper but they'll be w ay more effective than the overloads and help with the sway a bit as well.
If I ever get a levelling kit I'm going to get them to hold the rear up when we load up for our fishin trips.

What size lift kit? Did the lift kit replace the stock springs in the rear or was it a lift block? An airbag kit may not work because of the lifted height without modification.

Do you have the big azz overload leaf that's like 1" thick? I have them and they ride like a rock. I don't think I could make my truck squat if I wanted to!

speaking of this: do these trucks have like no block in the rear? i have a block that is maybe, 2" thick, but i bet not even, then i have two looks like cut leafs that only extend beyond the u bolts by a couple inches, then the big *** thick one, and then 4 leaves. is that how it is suppose to be? on the 2nd gens, those had 4.5" blocks.

this truck has the adjustable springs from procomp. I think the truck sits a little higher in the front than it does in the back. I want to add about 1 inch in height to the rear. So i was thinking i could kill 2birds with 1 stone by adding the overload spring??? it would raise the rear and stop the squat also right? here is a pic of the truck.

I really like my supersprings. Helped the squat on my 2500 with the TT. They only start helping when the weight in the truck gets to a certin point making a smoother ride than with standard overloads. Took about 30 min to install both sides.

i like the idea of supersprings also,

i like the idea of supersprings also, but i think i was told they will not work because of the lift kit. I would love to be wrong about this.

Bigfish5 whatever you do you better do it quickly as the truck squat problem appears to have had a profound impact on the family. I noticed the little one "squatting" in the background of the pic; sorry, I couldnt resist
