new to me 05

I just bought a '05 Quad cab LB 4x4 auto. The dealership put brand new 325 toyos on it. Driving home I see that at 65 mph I'm running about 1700 rpm. Have my computer been flashed for the bigger tires? There is a sticker under the hood about being reflashed or something. I will be putting 265's back on it tomorrow for trailer clearance. If I don't flash it for the smaler tires will it be ok?

Sounds right on with 3.73s

My 03 is right at 1700 at 65 MPH with 35x12.50R17 Toyo MTs.

That is checking with my GPS and plugging 33.25" as the tire size to in my Smarty

If you put 265s on it will read more miles then you are really putting on. Might make it shift later.

Don't think it will make a big difference.

Get a Smarty and set it to what you want.

the truck has 65,000 mi. I'm not planning on doing any upgrades (programmer) any time soon. I just want it to be right. The dealer threw in the extended warranty as part of the deal so clocking more miles than I actually go would not be good.

Yes the '07 is a 5.9.

Ok, after swapping tires back to 265's and following another truck its about 5 mph off and I found out it has a leveling kit on it, that's coming off tonight. It looks goofy with the front raised up higher than the back.
