It's worth what someone will pay for it and in this economy he'll probably have a tough time selling it for that.

That is a sharp truck...

That price has some room to work added to it.

I would expect to pay $30,000 for that truck in my neck of the woods.

As said, its worth what someone will pay for it. What's the year?

If you want a 5.9l with those mods already done, by all means, pay the piper. The cost is on target. If you want a stock truck 5.9 low mileage 4x4 that you can build, that truck is priced high.

I bought mine totally stock 32k '06 for $24k.

That is a nice truck, not knocking the seller or anything. It's all what you want to spend and what specific truck you want to spend it on.

Not to bad of a price for my area. Steep price for the bigger market south of here.

well it is a nice truck but you have to start asking yourself this question: what am i gonna have to replace. Since there is bigger wheels hubs might be an issue a lot of guys blow theirs out at 40,000 miles if it has a lift make sure all the tie rods and such are tight ball joints etc. also see what is all done to it it has a edge box but what else you know. that is an awesome truck but it is a lot of money for what he wants you could find an unmolested one and make it your own.

Going into this a little further. Bought mine with 67k miles and it had an Edge on it. Barely crossed 72k miles and took it to tranny shop to have them adjust the bands and they were surprised it was driveable. Full rebuild later it runs great, but for that much money I'd make sure it needs NOTHING. I thought my truck was a great price, and it was, until I spent a few thousand more on the transmission at which point I would have been better off buying a used truck with the transmission built already.

Just my .02

You could make an offer with a contingency of a prebuyers inspection. Take it to a dealer or other repair place and have them do a scan on the computer. You could pull some of the fluids (oil & transmission) and have them analyzed too. Just an idea.

For comparison's sake - look at this one - it's an 06 Mega Cab Laramie with about the same miles on it for about $3K cheaper - how much would a lift and wheels / tires run? And this Laramie was at a dealership, with a dealership markup...

Admins - I hope it was OK to post the link to ebay - I thought it'd be OK since the bidding was already over... If it isn't OK, please delete the link.

I would run from that. Lifted, bigger tires, chipped=bombed truck=worth LESS then book value. You don't know how hot that truck has got, you don't know how badly that tranny, T-case have been beaten. Boosted launches, 4x4 launches, etc.....The engine and tranny could be garbage. I would NEVER buy a used truck that was chipped or lifted, WAY to many are very hard on them and they are nothing but problems.

You are so much better off in a buyers market to buy a bone stock engine and drivetrain and buy a truck that hasen't been toyed with, and do what YOU want.

That is a huge price, even for a 07. You could buy that truck up here in Canada for like $47k all in BRAND new.....

I'd talk to the guy and get a feel for him. Offer less and then if you have a problem down the road you've covered part of it. If you were going to put in a lift and edge then you've saved a ton of cash.

I have an edge on my truck and I don't know how to do a boosted launch and I don't want to.

too much

Looks overpriced. And all that extra stuff usually does not add value to the resale..and how do you know he has not introduced a problem with these add-ons...you never know.

Keep looking - you can do a lot better...

I would not pay that much with all the mods. I have seen stock trannys in real bad shape from the turning the motor up . The motor could have some problems also. Has the warrenty been voided from the Edge yet?

I just bought a stock 06 with 51,000 miles. I did check to see if the warrenty was voided or not before I bought the truck. It still had the Cummins warrenty good thing the motor is getting replaced right now. I wouldn't have bought it though with out a warrenty.

Think it over before spending that kind of money. You don't want to be spending be buying a motor or tranny 3 to 6 months after buying the truck.

Mods are no value to a truck or vehicle at all. So what you spend on it playing is money tossed in the garbage unless you keep it for a long time. Lift, tires, Edge Juice, and rims mean nothing unless you are looking for those types of addons. He will be lucky to get 30k for it with this economy.
