Aight so a friend of a friend wants to buy my truck for well over what it is worth and way over what I owe on it. With this being said I was curious as to what you guys w/the 3rd generations thought of them. Specifically the year model listed in the title. With employee pricing how much do you think I could get one that is the same setup as my current one? What have you guys paid for your trucks. How do they compare to the 2nd generations. Thanks for any info.

 

I would go with an 05, better warranty, better looks (MY OPINION) should be a better deal since 06's are on the lots. mine was sticker at 41+k got it for 34k in early July, should do better this late. was back to this dealer last week for oil change & they still have 10+ 05's on the lot, & about the same amount of 06's

 

What are the differences in the warranty?

wow that's a drastic warranty change. I'll check out the 05's.

 

The 7/70 was POWERTRAIN, wrap around was still 3/36.
