Moog K80885 Sway Bar Endlink

Moog K80885 Sway Bar Endlink
I installed the Moog K80885 sway bar end links and there is a large gap between the swaybar and the rubber boot, so when I grease it the boot will just push off down the shaft. Normal fit for the Moog links? I am thinking of putting small split lock collars to hold the boot in place. Anyone else seen this issue?
