Track Bar, or Sway Bar Broken...I think
Hello,
Just happened to be looking around my truck the other day and noticed the one bar that go across the front of the truck, and drops down to both sides near the caliper...the passenger side is broken off at the lower joint. I'm not sure how else to explain the bar, and i can't think of the name. What is this bar called, and what does it do exactly?

That would be the "anti-sway" bar.
Commonly known as the sway bar.
Doesn't do much on our trucks with their heavy front springs.
On a normal vehicle, it is supposed to reduce body roll during turns.
