Lowering the rear of a 4WD Mega Cab to Level
Has anyone lowered the rear of a 4WD mega cab to level it out. I don't want to lift it any higher in the front because the tires I am putting on will look way too small if I level out the front. Is it possible to lower the rear on the 4WD?

I lowered my 2500 years ago and like it that way. But I replaced the spring pack bolts and left out the spacers. If I remember correctly, the new bolts are 1/2" by 3 1/2", fine thread, grade 8.
The process goes pretty easy and takes about an hour. You'll need a couple of big C clamps, some stands and a floor jack. Do one side at a time.
The truck sits better and handles well, but the suspension travel is reduced. So if you load it heavy you'll get more bottoming and the overloads are less effective.
I've been running mine that way for about 170,000 miles now.
