Wow, they've gone up.
I bought my 05 for 36,000. The sticker was 42,000.

Well I have a 04.5 white loaded dually now with 75000 miles on the clock. That truck stickerd for 47200.00 I paid 37400.00 OTD. They have eather 4000 rebait or a 0 intrest for the term. I am going to go with the 0 interest If I keep this truck I will save 3000.00 more going that way.Its for my business so I can write a percentage off every year.

My '07 (5.9) DRW was stickered about 43,500, delaer sale price was about 33,000 a little over a month ago. If I only would not have had the trade (it was a Duramax, can I say that on this site...<grin>) The cash deal would have been great. Ended up being the best deal I have ever had and it has been too many to count.

Good Luck

I got $11,000 off my 05 QC4X4 Hemi 1500 in 05 . And that was a much cheaper truck, sticker $35,000. Dealer just offered me $14,000 to trade it in on an 04 Cummins QC4X4 3500 Duallie that they were asking $32,000 for! Holy Shiatman. My truck is mint too. They called me at home later and offered $2,000 more for my truck. If I'm gonna pay that much for a 1 yr older truck than mine, somebody hit me.

On my 2007.5 ordered truck, based on actual MSRP and invoice, you can get just about dead-on invoice by multiplying MSRP * .8911.

Then, simply deduct any rebates in effect at the time; some dealers may go into holdback and even cut you a better deal.

LEASE!!!!! write the whole payment off

I lease my trucks, have them work the residual in the payment because the truck will unavoidably go over the milage. so at the end of the lease my payoff is 1$ and Uncle SAM paid for half of my truck.
only downside is a higher monthly but who cares since you write off 100% of the lease payment?

18-20 % off of msrp-which is close to being 500.00 to 1000.00 under invoice- if you can"t get it for that- you need to hone your negotiating skills!
