And no rub what so ever. Must be because mine does't have the snow plow option.

For once, the 17" wheel looks right on these trucks. Its nice driving around and getting looks from other Dodge drivers as well as all the Ford ones(LOL).

Will shoot some pics and upload tomorrow.

Don't post here much, but I thought I would say a big thankyou to all. This site is what gave me the idea and what to do and not to do.

The reason some rub and some don't is the different rims. I have the alloy rims and it will get your attention when they rub. I had an 03 with steel clad rims and they would only rub at full turn on a hill. They have different set backs.

I had the chrome clads and now have the alloys and I still have the same amount of rub w/ the 315s. Are you sure the offset is different?

The Dodge stock alloy wheels and the chrome clad wheels are both 17x8, exactly the same size. Got both sets with 315s on them. Only difference is the Chrome clad steel wheels weigh about 15.5 lbs more each.

I bet if you take it offroad, you'll get some rubbing.

yeah, what was I thinkin' we dont have that stuff hear. Utilizing wheel/tire travel I've had both 315s and my 35s rub hard w/ both the stock wheels and my new Moto Metal 951 17x9s (these rub real bad, they stick out alot but look awesome).

If it's not a different off set then I don't know why some do and some don't. It ranks up there with why some trucks have honey comb grills and some don't. Some have storage in the middle and some don't. Some have death wobble and some don't.

Forgot the camera guys. b Will post up tomorrow the pics.

I actually have quite a bit of room on mine when the tires are turned all the way. Now that may change when its moving up and down, but with what I do, I don't think I will be bouncing that front when the wheels are cocked all the way.

Anyways, I guess I am a lucky one. They really do clear with ease.

I guess I should mention I have the optioned 17" alum. rim. I am guessing that is the same as the alloy wheel you guys have mentioned above. Though in 04, they didn't offer them in chrome, but I am guessing that wouldn't make a difference. LOL

With the 315 or 35's, they really fill the wheelwell up. Makes the trucks look alot better in my books
