What tire pressure is everyone running on their 315 BFG'S? I am running 50 PSI and the ride is killing my back.

 

50 up front, 40 in back. You need to soften up the rears to help the ride a bit. Or throw 1000lbs in back. Mike

 

Hey guys I'm a noobie but Ive been running BFG LT 285'S for 5 years and I do lots of Km's.(210,000 ON MY 99 CTD.just sold it.) Now running 315's on my 04 2500 SLT LB. AT 35 lbs. front and rear.same as I've always done. I drive a lot of bush road and Highway and have never had any problems. If I carry any weight or go on a long trip of more than 500 km I up the pressure to 38 or 40 psi. depending on weight I will carry. 8)

 

According to the Tire info Guide supplied with the truck, you need to run 50 psi in the front at a minimum.
I run 50 psi in all 4 except when towing or hauling I run 60 front and 60 to 70 in the rear.
My truck is setup almost exactly like yours except I have the auto. My truck rides just great with this setup, however it does ride a little better with about 500lbs in the bed.

I wonder what the Hummer recommends? That is the factory tire for them... ???

 

The Hummer states 37 PSI Ft and Back....its the same tire.
