Evenin, DTR...

One of my friends has a hood off a 07.5 that I was thinking about buying from him to have a hood to do a hood stack with. It has some hail damage, but not bad at all, I'm gonna repaint it anyhow...

Will it work (04.5-07.5) and how much should I pay? He's my buddy, so I ain't tryin to rip him off, but neither of us know what it's worth...

wont fit unless you do headlights, grille, and fenders. I believe

 

The hoods are the same....it`ll work , the rest of the nose is different (items stated above).

I`ve seen them go for $100-150 on Craigslist , in good condition , so $50-75 would be fair if it`s damaged , but fixable.

 

I may swing by the dealership and look later...

 

The hoods are the same. The grille, front bumper, headlights, and fenders are all different. The hood will fit you will just have to use your current style grille.

The hoods are them exact smae, like most have stated. The grille is the same as well, but you have to get a different grill support when switching over to the '06-'08 bumper, headlights and fenders.

My truck is an '05 with an '08 front clip on it.

 

Bump on this... I looked on e-bay and craigs list, and could not find anything...

I searched all of NC and SC craigslist for ya, nothing at all in either state...... cazedlist is the best at doing this search of craigs....... I did see a few fiberglass knockoffs on ebay, shipping gets steep, but an option nonetheless.

 

Dealers want about 400$ for a hood in my area. So if you can get from your buddy for cheap I'd do it.

 

Yeah, I'm just tryin not to rape him. I don't mind giving him 150 if it's fair, I just don't want to give him 150 when other people in the area are getting 400.
