My girl friend bought a set of the HIDs for her truck and we just got em in yesterday. At first everything was working right, and seemed right. Then she drove home, and when she got home only her high beams work, low beams stopped working. Also, when you first start the truck and turn the low beams on, they turn on, then flash 4 times, and then won't come back on.. Then you turn the truck off, and back on, and same thing, low beams come on, then flash 4 times, then go back off. But the high beams will work. Anybody got any ideas what is going on? Thanks

 

Did you get the resistor kit with them? The cpu senses no current on the low beam and will cut power to them. The resistors fix this.

 

your gona burn your ballasts if you keep running them without the resistors

 

That, and your DTRL's will also cause them to flicker (if you have them).

TRL's = Daytime Running Lights! Seeing how you are State side, I believe they are not mandatory there. They are law here in Canada!!
