Well if I don't wash it it should be completely soot black in another week or so.

I did my front bumper bout a month ago. It's held up pretty good since then. I wasnt too sure how good that stuff would hold so I sanded the crap out of the chrome, used 3 coats of self etching primer, sanded that, then put on the bed liner junk. I did 3 coats of that too but can always add more if it looks like it needs it. So far it's held up great. My rear bumper is a replacement so it was already black. Thinking of using this stuff for my wheels instead of regular black paint. I used it on my hubs too when my center caps got stolen.

seriously though, that bumper looks great now! Definitely is an improvement

Not to change the subject but where did you get those rear mudflaps?

 

They are Husky molded mud flaps, close to the Dodge molded flaps. I added the Cummins Badge to all four.
