Dangerous Dave

What I planned to do today was make my low beams stay on with the highs, and do the door switch wiring mod to stop the honking when backing up (and sometimes when getting out of the truck).

I was looking for violet and violet w/gray stripe for the door mod and light green and violet w/white stripe for headlight mod.

I am slightly color blind but mostly dealing with lime green yellow area.

I couldn't find any of those wires and couldn't find ANY wire coming from the steering column that was hot with HL switch on using a known good test light.

I could easily get to Conroe area, Spring area or even Houston if someone KNOWS. Or a scan, drawing or rough sketch of where the wires "5" and "6" are in the connector for the door mod.

I don't HAVE to have either one, but for now I use the "flick for high" lever to use both highs and lows on the SERIOUSLY dark road that leads to my house.

And I cringe when I open the door!
