Headlight Removal
Headlight Removal
I want to hook my wig-wag back up in my truck again. I was looking at the back of the headlight assembly and it looks like a pain in the a$$ to take the bulb out without taking the whole headlight out. It seems like it would be easier to take out the whole light assembly. Has anyone done this? Thanks

Just changed my headlights last night on my 03. Three screws & 2 plastic phillips connections for the little rubber gasket. Two of the screws are easy to see in front of radiator. One under light on the outside. Mine lights were hard to break free when the screws were out. Took a good pull to get loose. Then had to do some wiggling to get the light out above the bumper. On driver side even had to push the bumper cover down a little to get some extra space.
well, I removed the same screws as before and this time I put a little muscle into pulling the assembly out.... It came out. There was a little spring loaded catch holding the assembly in. I was afraid I was going to break something and I could just see $$$ for having to replace the whole assembly.
