Headlight removal question

I have an 07 2500 and according to the manual it says to remove the two bolts from the front (did that) and to remove the rubber plug from inside the fender well to access the nut and remove the nut (did that). Manual says to remove the headlight from the front by pulling forward. Tried that on both sides but seems like there is something else holding the headlight assembly in place. Any help would be appreciated.

Light

The headlight is still secured by "snaps". There are a couple of headed plastic pegs that snap into a hole. Anyways...just grap the headlight cluster and yank straight forward...it will pop out. Did on my '03 anyhow!

Gave up on removing the entire headlight housing after taking a closer look and seeing a large white plastic pin securing the top part of the headlight and it was impossible to get to without removing the entire fender well. Also too hard to get any leverage to pull the headlight forward without feeling like I was going to break something, so I just replaced the stock headlight bulbs with Silverstars from the inside the hood. Surprised it only took 10 minutes for both lights. I just had to remove the lid off of the AFE intake and remove the air filter to get to the passenger side bulb.

Is there any difference on the 07 from the 05?
If so how much in regards to changing the bulbs without removing the headlight unit?
Thanks.

I usually just put a flat tip in a rag between the fender and the headlight and push, it pops right out. its a real pain to just try and pull it out.

Just did this on my 07 to get to the marker light wiring. Just do as "OWN1bigtruck" works as advertised.
