It has so much, I picked mine up on 30June2003.

First diesel and love it! The family was expecting this loud smelly thing. I kept telling them the new ones are much better. They had to "not" smell/hear it for themselves.

The dealer got it late on Saturday. I pick it up on Monday am.
I will check the Diff's for fluid.

I hated the new style when I first saw it. Now I like it after getting used to it. Different story with the second gen. As soon as I saw a picture of it some months before its release I fell instantly in love with it and put in my order as soon as they started taking em.

When I first saw the new design, I was disappoint as I was expecting a much more radically designed truck based on the Powerwagon concept. Now I am really thrilled with the looks. Also, I personally think Dodge did just fine with the size of the Quad Cab. I wouldn't want lengthen the truck or shorten the bed any further. It's just right for me.

I just keep receiving comments from people amazed how quiet the HO is. I was talking last weekend to a guy across the fuel island. He was filling his diesel VW and said he just couldn't believe it but my truck was noticibly quieter than his car.

I guess it has 'grown' on me since I bashed the new look when it came out, but now own one.

I still like the looks of the '02 better and wish they hadn't disposed of the quad cab.

It's grown on me a little.

I still call them "piggy noses" though .
And they look awefully low to the ground, even in the 4x4 versions.

For the time being, I'm glad I got my 2002 instead of waiting.

Ask again in 6 years when my lease is up : .

phox

I can't help but consider the 2nd generation trucks as THE classic in proportion and style for these trucks - but best wishes and congratulations on all with the newest trucks - you have every reason to be proud as well... ;D ;D ;D

I think that the 4x4 is the perfect hight. The cab marker lights clear the garage door by 1/4 of an inch. Any higher and I wouldn't be able to get it in there.

Teeth, mine isn't too tall for my garage but the garage needs to be lengthened by about 3 feet!! ;D Needless to say, the truck gets parked outside.......
