Not to sure if color or the amount of foam you get while fueling has anthing to do with performance. The one indicator is the ceatain (spelling) rating the higher the better.


I was talking to a guy who works for Shell in Alberta just 2 days ago. About cetain- he told me that it has nothing to do with power, only ease of starting. When I asked him about our fuel being dirtier than European diesel, and that I had heard Alberta fuel was lower in cetain, he told me that the diesel they send down to Montanna is far more inferior because of lower restrictions.
