Extra plug behind dash

Anyone know what this plug is for? It goes nowhere. My truck has tow and offroad package if that makes a difference.

From the general location it's probably the passenger side airbag shutoff connector for regular cab models.

About that dash mounted Cummin logo.... that is the passenger air bag and that emblem will be a projectile if it needs to deploy. JUST MY 2 cents worth of warning, it could be embedded in somebody's forehead or chest. I work with airbags and safety systems and things like that just make you think after seeing them deploy. The emblems on the driver air bag are actually tested to make sure they don't come loose on deployment. Okay my is now over.

Good advise. I probably would not have even given a second thought to that!
