E-Brake

when i park my truck i have to push the e-brake to the floor to keep the truck from rolling away. anyone know how to fix that or do i need to take it to the shop? the guy i work with has the same truck and his is alot harder than mine and he has 40K more mile than i do.

Thanks,

With the 6 speed it seems the only time I use my e-brake is just for insurance when stopped on really extreme grades. If I use just the e-brake without leaving it in gear I have to mash it and even then it creeps for awhile until biting in. Its done it since it was new.

I believe they have the typical rubber plug to get a brake adjusting tool in to the star wheel adjustment...
