If you run 40 psi in the rears they'll wear even. I always got 80,000 km on mine with regular rotating.

I ran 50-55 in my rears when lightly loaded(old truck). I'd say lower your pressure. Do the outside edges of your tires touch the ground? Mine didn't until about this pressure.

the outside edges really dont touch much .I think the tires are to wide for the wheel .IF i put 40 psi i would be afraid to do any towing and you know what a pain it is to have to air up or down with a dually.

I run was running 45 in the rears and they worked fine. 50 was good too. I've been on 55 for the last 2k and there doing good.

I always run 40 in the winter when i'm not towing, and i put them up to 50 when i start towing. Been doing that for 10 years on 2 trucks, never had an issue.

Ive got 35x12.50s on my stock steels so they should be wearing real bad in the middle i drop down to 34 ppsi and ive got 30.000 on the same set of BFG MT i bump up to 4 or so when i know ill be towing heavy for allot of miles dont be afraid to play with your pressures to get it rite tire rotation will help allot and lower pressure helps the ride

Best thing to make sure you do for tire longevity is to rotate them every 5,000 miles and keep up with the pressure checks.

What brand of tires are on your truck? My 04 came with General Ameritracs and even at 32 pounds the centers wear out slightly ahead of the outer edges on the rear. I have to run 75-80 on the fronts to get them to wear even.

Gosh! I thought I was only one not able to get pressures correct. Have to run 70 on fronts and 40 on rear with a load. Not perfect cause load varries so much. Somewhere there is a pressure / load chart that would help get pressure correct. Then have to weigh ever corner of truck.

I tow 10-12K several days a week with mine, but it's also a GN, not a bumper pull. I would prefer a higher psi on a bumper pull. It's not what I would recommend for everyone but I'm always local, within 50-60 miles of home. My next set of tires will not be Ameritracs.
