Question: [Heat]when I put my directional **** on the logo for "feet"; air IS directed to the feet; however air also comes out the small air vents above the larger air vents on the driver and passenger sides. Is this normal?? Thanks

 

mine did this also. but i had the blend door go out and after the dealer put the updated one in it does not do it anymore. mine had done it since i bought it new.

I have heard of blend doors going bad but they went all the way bad.
Even falling off.
Is this a malfunctioning blend door also, that MARKP speaks of??

 

I have an 04.5 and it does put air out the window vent even on floor and I think i read in the service manual it's suposed to. I'll look back and see for sure.

 

Mine is putting heat out through defrosters, and not to the floor when the **** is on just the floor setting. The vent settings work fine, but I can't get heat to the floor just to defrosters and vents. Is the blend door not working for me too?
I was thinking that some is blocking the door from moving into the floor position.

 

I have the same problem as Toddbweaver ! No heat to the floor when it is set on floor setting, heat is coming out defrost vents instead...

What does this sound like.. a blend door located in the middle of dash ??

when mine went out i got very little air and then none. sound like you got something else going on. if your getting air even if it's not where you want it.it does not sound like the blend door to me.
