Dealer screwed up tire rotation
Had tires rotated at the dealer, that is exactly what they did.
They did not adjust the tire pressure. I know I should have checked before hauling Travel Trailer 700 miles and wndering why fuel milage wss down

You don't really need air tools to do a tire rotation, been doing it without air tools for 15 yrs now. Basic stuff like that and oli changes and what ever else I can do myself, the dealer will never see my truck for.....

What helps most to save time with rotation is having two floor jacks. Air tools help also. I do a five tire rotation. Have five matching rims. I drop the spare out first, then rotate all five, so I only need one floor jack.

Speaking of dropping the spare out, while doing the last oil change at the dealer, I always am right there with the tech, I usually check the truck out while it's up on the lift. This time I'm at the rear of the truck looking up and I'm thinking to myself, darn there's alot of room up there. Then it dawns on me that the spare tire is MISSING!! Either it just dropped out somewhere or someone stole it!! The tech comes back and we're looking at where the spare should be. We both notice a little plastic tube where the cable comes out of the winch but no cable. He thinks the cable broke and the spare fell out as the cable did not stick out of the tube, no frays in the cable as if it had been cut. We're looking for any kind of scratches underneath where if it fell out while driving it should've hit something but no marks anywhere. I can't believe it!! If it fell out while towing it should've made some serious damage to the trailer or if it fell out while driving empty, it should've made some mark underneath and I should of at least heard something. So now, not only do I have to replace the spare tire & wheel but I have to get a another winch too. Maybe you all better check your cables or install one of those spare tire locks. I don't know when I lost it but it was there a couple of weeks ago when the oil was last changed.

as far as dealers go, a few years ago when we bought our Durango new we got the dealer oil change plan. Silly me thought it was like Jiffylube where they check everything and tell you if it needs service. After about 15K miles and 5 oil changes the service writer asks if I want the rest of the fluids and air filter checked. I asked him if they had been doing that before? No, thats extra!! Cost me 50.00 to do what I thought was getting done in the first place!! Last time that rig went to a dealer for oil changes!! I have done every service on it since!!! Dealers are SCUM!!!

I purchased a gooseneck trailer that had the spare come out from under the truck. Everything was messed up, jack, both axles, and even one of the ramp holders got really twisted up. Ive usually carried the spare in the back of the bed , never trusted those weany cables they use, besides if you need the spare in the winter and snow and ice are packed up in there or frozen mud it makes for a fun tire change.
