Daytime running lights
I've read other posts and am not sure,
1.)Are they available on the 2004.5?
2.)Is it a computer change by dealer only or is there hardware involved?
3.)Does it cost anything?
5.)Sounds like most dealers don't know how, any links to where to change program?
Thanks all!

I was looking at posts on TDR and came across one on daytime running lights for a 2004.5. According to the person who posted the thread, this is simply a software change. You hook up the DRB and look under the option for daytime running lights and there it was all that was done is that this option was enabled. They come on when the engine is running and as soon as you release the parking brake. When you set the parking brake or turn the engine off, they go off. They are on the high beams and are on at approximately 60% power. I intend to have this done for my 2004.5 as soon as I get to the dealership.

Me too, there was some mention of a Canadian setting, I'm going to call in advance before my scheduled oil change and make sure they know how.
