I have tied to do this but being the Tim Taylor of my house arhh arhh arhh I have not been able to succeed.
How do you check the pressure of the rear tires and then how do you fill them.
The air pressure gauge is doulbe sided end so I and pull or push it to check but because of the chrome part of the wheel the angle doesn't work.
I cant even reach the inside tire stud at all.
I am trying to be more mechanical but geez I can swap the advanced timing sensor but cant check the tire pressure.

They are a pain. The easiest way is to put on the coveralls and do it from the inside of the rims crawling underneath the truck. For the otherside you have to turn the gauge around and press and then get the gauge back without hitting the indicator. The outside wheel covers just pop off like a hubcap once you take off the center cap. There is an expensive kit to make this easy and some here probably have it but I don't have the link. ks
Get yourself a truck gauge. Mine is double sided and about 8-10in long No trouble doing from the outside for both wheels. You will need a long unit as well for installing the air. With the plastic covers off it does make it easier but not necessary.There is a tool under the passenger seat with a little hook on the end. Just install and pull.

I second the motion on the LONG truck gauge. And, most large service stations have a long truck extension on their air hose. I do not recommend the valve extensions - - I had a fit with those on my motorhomes and lost two tires due to those suckers and I had the good braided stainless version. Just make sure it is the long one. Also, make sure your friendly little tire man has not put both valve stems opposite one another in the same hole of the hub. I had to make my dealer pull my wheels and move them 180 degrees apart so I could get in there and do my thing.

my gauge is too short.
I did find the tool under the passenger seat and remove the hub caps and was abel to get a reading but I had to stick my hand completely through the hole in the wheel to get to the rear.
