check gauge light

Hello. I have an o3 CTD and last thursday I went from flagstaff to calif.
and going across the desert there was a red light that came on for just
2 seconds you had to be looking at the dash to see it. it said check gauges. it happend twice
the second time i pulled off the road and checked every thing under the hood.
Every thing checked out ok.off i went and it never did it again.now i am back in flagstaff. what

This is common on the '03s. I believe it's a bug in the IP software. Mine does it once in awhile on cold days.
