i have only 5 on each side--dealer supplied them for no charge and felt so bad they gave me a bottle of touch up paint.

that plug (picture) in the above post is the cowling plug... goes below the windshield wipers - inside the plastic housing..

I got them for free with the truck when I bought it. I looked to see if it had them or not then told them I wanted them and they had them on order before I even signed for the truck. If your dealer wants you to buy them I would just go to the local junk yard and see if they have any 02 or newer quad cab rams and get them from there. They could be off a 1/2 ton or anything solong as it was the curnt body style. They probobly wont want much of anything for them. Our local junkyard would probobly not even charge for them if you went and got them yourself.

Talked to DC customer service , guy told me to buy them and send receipt and they will reimburse me . He wasn't sure but supposedly the dealers should be installing them upon delivery . I was pretty peeved after Service Dept told me they no longer use them on assembly but we just happen to have them in stock at $ 2. 75 / each . Idiotic them paying full retail for their own part that probably costs them 25 cents ............. . Gee .......... I wonder why a new truck costs 40 grand plus ??? I just follow the rules ......... I sure don't write them !!!
