a/c control and compressor button problems

The HVAC fan control and the compressor button on my 2008 Ram 2500 started behaving strangely. The fan would shut off or come on by itself and sometimes if I shut the fan off the compressor would stay on. I did a search and found the suggested fix was to replace the ignition switch. So I did. Easy and cheap and the wires all looked good. NO CHANGE to the problem. Now I am wondering if the control module is bad.

Anyone else have similar issues? Am I on the right track?

Sounds like the control module. I just replaced my module on my 2005. It was on national back order. I ordered it last april. In September my parts store called a parts rep wanting to know whats up. He made some calls and found one some where and had it over nighted. Solved all my problems but I do not know if the back order is taken care of yet or not. Dodge Dealer wanted like 450$ for a module but I got this one for 130$ with a 250$ core charge. My HVAC system was not moving doors properly and kept defaulting the blend door to HOT and would not move to cold. I ended up wiring a pigtail to the blend door servo and all summer I would manually move the blend door so I could have AC or heat or adjust temp.
