To buy or not to buy

I have found an 06 2500 cummins quad cab long bed, auto, 4x4. It is a base model with
crank windows and manual locks. It has 10,000 mile and they are asking
$24,500. Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. Thanks for any help

Sounds like a real good deal as long as it is in original condition

i,ve talked to the previous owner's wife, she said she hated it because she
couldn't get in and out very easily. Also called local dealer where it was
purchased and they ran a repair history. The only thing they had done was
a headliner.

Sounds like a good deal, but push for more.
Id rather try and get it for less than just settle.

Sort of tough to re-sell a non-SLT quad cab truck. Not nesscisarily bad, just make sure you're intending to keep it a while as it would be similarly difficult to re-sell should you need to. Sounds like a nice truck, too bad it's not a G-56 6-speed!

Test drive it a couple of times, make sure the A/C works, they usually take 5 minutes or so to cool off but then it should get good and cold. If not, I'd pass on it. Having said that, the price seems very fair (I'd offer 21k and see if they bite). Good luck..

That sounds like a good truck. Like every one said I'd try to offer something less than they are asking. Most people expect it. Definately take it for a good long test drive.
