brake and abs lights on...
Alright before I pay for an ave tech $90 an hour does any one have any insight to what might be wrong? Thanks in advance.
Yesterday stared my truck brake and abs lights were on broke to work with out a problem everything seemed to work. Finished work drove home took truck to les schwab for a brake inspection they found nothing visually wrong. Just replaced hub assy and tie rod and U joints in front end about a month ago. plus I checked for any codes with my smarty and nothing came up. So any thoughts before I pay out for some guy to look at a computer.

Check fuses and brake lights first. You could have bad wheel speed sensor , did hub bearing come with new sensor? Check wiring to sensor especially by front calipers make sure wires are not damage or pinched. Also check fuse 30 labeled as spare it is use to power antilock module. Make sure it is not missing or open.

I have checked all fuses and connections, and wiring. Any other ideas before I pay a guy to plug a computer in and tell me whate wrong. And does any one know a place in my area that has the ability to read abs codes cheaper than $90 an hour?

If you lost the speedo, your particular problem is more than likely the rear ABS sensor in the diff. Either the wiring/connector has a continuity issue or the sensor is pooched and needs to be replaced.
