Is that center section stainless steel? Are these just an applique over the standard trim or would you have to replace the whole center section trim somehow?

I haven't tried to remove mine yet but I would like to get the factory look stainless trim if possible.

If I remember from watching our PDI Tech, The side moldings, dash plac, Exhaust tip and door sil plates are dealer installed. You might be able to talk to the dealer and find out for sure.

Mine had the side moldings and silver dash on it when it came off the truck. The exhaust tip and sill plates are dealer installed accessories. All the dealer had for sill plates are black plastic, I will be getting chrome ones installed.

 

It looks like more than just the center bezel has changed and the steering wheel.

It appears the vents are contoured with more rounded corners and the vents above the glove box have disappeared. Interesting.

My 04' SLT with Sport Package has side mouldings and grill fascia painted to match body color (silver). Monochromatic.

 

Do the SLT Sports come with the Chrome Billet grills? Just ordered a White Sport but forgot to ask.
