Removing Body Moulding

Started removing the body moulding on my 1997 truck, comes off easy with a heat gun, i have half that foam double stick tape stuck to the body, bought some 3m adhesive cleaner and that stuff doesnt seem to be working? You guys got any suggestions for getting it off? The 3m's main ingredient is xylene

Xylene may turn whats left into a gooey mess for a while but a lot of scraping/scrubbing may get it off. Tyr a plastic pot scraper or body putty knife to get the majrity of it. Try to find 3M citrus base cleaner. It works great on a lot of stuff like that.

I took mine off with "goof off". Its not a fast process but will do the job.

Use an eraser wheel on a cordless drill. Just becareful and try not to burn the paint. You can find them at any auto parts store that sells body work supplies.
